CHAPTER 8: PODCASTING
Podcasting makes everyone have the ability to create their own on-line radio show. The technology requires a microphone, a digital storage area and the ability to create mp3 files.

The term "Podcasting" stemmed from Apple's successful ipod mp3 player. The ability to transfer sounds digitally into the mp3 format has opened up a new era of personalized deejaying and philosophizing. Students and the public are able to share who they are through voice and sound; they can utilize their personalities, alter their voices, and blog about specific subjects using this technology.
